NexQuant
FAQ

Questions, answered.

What NexQuant is, how MT5 sync works, and how your data is handled — in plain words.

MT5 & Sync

How does MT5 sync work?

Connect your account once with its investor password. NexQuant then reads your closed trades in the background and adds them to your journal automatically.

Is it read-only?

Yes. NexQuant connects using MT5 investor access, which provides read-only access to account data without trading permissions. You never hand over your master password.

Do I need an EA or keep MT5 running?

No. Nothing is installed on your computer, and MT5 doesn’t need to stay open. NexQuant handles synchronization on its side.

Can I use a prop firm account?

The connection uses the standard read-only investor login and never touches execution. Rules on third-party tools vary between firms, so check the terms of yours.

Product

How do I add trades without MT5?

Log them manually or import a CSV from your platform. The guided import previews every row and flags duplicates before anything is saved.

How many trades do I need to start getting insights?

NexQuant unlocks your first early insights from 10 analyzable trades, then sharpens them at 30 and 50. As your history grows, the analysis becomes more representative of your trading.

What does NexQuant analyze?

Your performance by setup, market, session, timing and execution — expectancy, profit factor and R distribution, all computed from your own trades.

What does Pre-Trade do?

It compares the setup in front of you with similar trades from your own journal and shows how those conditions played out for you in the past.

Is Pre-Trade a signal or prediction?

No. It only measures how the current setup compares to your own history — never a probability of winning, never a trade recommendation.

Account & Security

Can I use multiple trading accounts?

Yes. Pro includes 3 trading accounts and Elite is unlimited — each with its own journal, stats and objectives.

Is my trading data private?

Yes. Your journal is your data, analyzed only for you — no third-party feeds, and your MT5 access can be revoked at any time.
